Red Rose, Why Not A Lotus!!

We often say that, roses are red ,and though we love lotus equally well,we prefer the rose .Here I have tried to explain why roses are better than lotuses and its unconditional feeling of love.


Red rose ,why not a lotus,
cause its pink ,not red.
Yet its thorns prick,
but though, make them bed!!

What can a lotus say ,
there's mud all over.
Its stem full of holes,
unlike rose stem ,land rover!!

Petals so soft and silky,
they must just tease the stem.
But they do live in harmony,
unlike quarrels of women!!

Rose's given not for a lotus though,
for lovers sake or deadmans grave.
In remembrance of all those memories,
happy,glad or sad, yet brave!!

Rose alas suits for its name,
to rise against violence thee.
What can just a lotus mean,
when it just takes a bee!!
